Signage on north US 19 at WV 41 north of Summersville. WV 41 is the old alignment of US 19. US 19 is Appalachian Corridor L, a four-lane route linking I-77 at Beckley with I-79 south of Clarksburg. It serves as a valuable cut-off for north-south traffic wishing to avoid Charleston and the curvy toll portion of I-77 between Beckley and Charleston.

US 19's bypass of Summersville is well-known as a speedtrap. This sign says "radar enforced" but others say "strictly enforced" to give notice to drivers to watch their speedometers.
