LEFT PHOTO: This old faded US 25E sign, with the state name, is one of two still in existence in Cumberland Gap, Tenn. The upper line reads "TENN-US" in case it's not readily visible in the photo. US 25E has long since bypassed the town and is now on its third alignment in the area, through the Cumberland Gap Tunnel. The photo was taken in spring 1998.
