Announcing the 2013 US 460 Appalachian Corridor Q Road Meet (Pikeville, Ky. to Grundy, Va.). Make plans now to attend!

Where: Reno's Roadhouse
4053 North Mayo Trail, Pikeville, KY
Why: For food, fun and fellowship, and to see construction of the new US 460 (Appalachian Corridor Q) between Pikeville, Ky. and Grundy, Va.

This meet will involve a tour of the new route for US 460, Appalachian Corridor Q, from Pikeville, Ky. extending into Virginia. We'll also see the Pikeville Cut-Through Project from an overlook and drive through this massive engineering feat that moved a road, a river and a railroad.

Lunch will be at Reno's Roadhouse, site of the gathering for the 2005 Pikeville meet that focused on US 119 construction. It is located at 4053 North Mayo Trail, Pikeville, Ky.

For those who keep track of such things, the meet tour will visit three counties: Pike, Ky., and Dickenson and Buchanan, Va.
