Immediately after leaving US 62, US 60 crosses the Tennessee River near its mouth into the Ohio. This bridge, and the one a little further east on US 60 crossing the Cumberland River near its mouth, are of the same design as the KY 52 bridge over the Kentucky River in Irvine that I'm very familiar with.
